While looking on some educational websites I bumped into this graphic about how much we retain knowlege based on how the information is presented to us.

I think this graphic makes a good point that the best way to learn SEO is one to one SEO classes with your own instructor and then practice the steps on your own website.  This way is a lot better than reading the information in a book, listening to an instructor at a seminar or watching videos online.

When I think about all the different way of learning SEO; like group classrooms, online reading or video education but they don't have the impact of actually doing the work.  Sometimes you make mistakes but they are easy to correct with an instructor checking your work.

Once you truly understand what you are doing and the SEO strategy behind the task then you get to practice on your own.
If you do not understand something covered in class I'll explain it a different way and show examples till you fully understand the concept.
